MOVEBR Program Keeps Public and Businesses Informed of Progress

This has been an engaging year for the MOVEBR Program. Numerous public events were held to update the public on projects happening throughout the parish and to engage small businesses.

In an effort to fulfill the program’s commitment of keeping the public informed, various events were held both in-person and virtually for a variety of stakeholders. If you missed one of the public meetings for a project, you can visit the project-specific page on the website to learn more information about the project or the past events page to watch a recording of any meeting that was held virtually. Additionally, photos from the in-person events can be found in the photo gallery. In 2022, the program held twelve 1st Thursday Outlook Calls to engage small businesses, ten project open houses, eight stakeholder group presentations, two project groundbreakings, a small-business networking event, participated in a community event and held a press conference on signalization.
