Public Meeting Held for North Boulevard Corridor Enhancement Project

A public meeting was held in December for the North Boulevard Corridor Enhancement Project (I-110 to Foster/Florida) to give the public and stakeholders a look at the enhanced pedestrian and bicycle facilities designed to make travel on the corridor safer. You can review the project designs, read more about this project and provide comments here.

This project will enhance pedestrian and cyclist mobility by extending the bike and pedestrian facilities eastward from the Downtown Greenway Project into the developed areas along the North Boulevard corridor. High-visibility crosswalks, pedestrian countdown signals at signalized intersections and refreshed striping will be included. Mobility features for pedestrians and bicycles will ultimately connect to the mobility improvements planned for the Florida Boulevard Enhancement Project.

The proposed budget for this project is $15M.
