More Large Capacity Projects Begin in 2024 |

2024 will be a busy year for the MOVEBR program. In addition to our ongoing community enhancement projects throughout the parish, construction will begin soon on some of our larger capacity projects that have been in design.
We ended 2023 with 19 projects completed, 18 under construction and 92 in design and planning. Looking forward, we will soon start construction on 41 more projects to help get our parish moving. You can read more about these projects here.

The MOVEBR program has been building the most connected traffic signal program in the U.S., using the latest technology. After decades of piecemeal funding and progress toward connecting our signals with fiber optic cable to be managed from a central advanced traffic management center, the MOVEBR program has finished the job. You can read more about the Signal projects here.

The MOVEBR Website Provides Transparency on Projects |
The MOVEBR website serves as a key resource to learn information about the program and its projects.
When the MOVEBR program commenced in 2019, the city-parish and program management team made a commitment to ensure the public could track the program’s progress and individual projects. The MOVEBR website is the central hub of information for various elements of the program including historical information on the program, specific project information, key performance indicators, how to do business with the program, resources for small businesses, photo galleries and much more. You can read more about the MOVEBR projects here.
