MOVEBR Program Hosts Marketing Workshop for Small Businesses

Small Business Marketing Workshop (6/29/2023)

Small businesses looking to work with the MOVEBR program attended a workshop conducted by the program’s communications and public outreach team  last month. Attendees learned tips on technology for small businesses, website and digital marketing, branding and graphic design, networking and working with larger prime consulting firms. Following a panel discussion by the MOVEBR team, the small business owners received one-on-one feedback on their marketing materials and had the opportunity to ask questions.

The marketing workshop was part of the MOVEBR program’s Small Business Outreach (SBO) initiative to increase participation in the program by small minority, woman and veteran-owned businesses. Raymond Jetson provided opening remarks and a panel of public relations experts who work on the MOVEBR program included Johnathan Hill, Advisory Services Practice Lead, Franklin and Associates; Trae Russell, Vice President, Covalent Logic; T.C. Nash, Communications Specialist, MetroMorphosis; Cristina Lacroix, Creative Manager, Franklin and Associates; Todd Sterling, Owner, Alpha Media and Communications, and Shaun Sherrow, P.E., Vice President of Engineering and Infrastructure Delivery Lead at CSRS.
