Baton Rouge breaks ground on $60 million Florida Boulevard project to add sidewalks, bike lanes

Mayor-President Sid Edwards and DOTD Secretary Glenn Ledet broke ground today on a major project focused on improving safety for all users of Florida Boulevard, one of Baton Rouge’s busiest and most dangerous corridors.
(WAFB) The EBR Metro Council is set to vote Wednesday on the Spanish Town Sidewalk and ADA Improvements Project, a proposal that would fund repairs to deteriorating sidewalks in one of Baton Rouge’s most walkable neighborhoods.
