Project Description: This project proposes to improve existing conditions along MacHost Rd including alignment, sight distance, shoulders, and drainage. This project is being designed under the ownership of the City of Zachary.

Project Updates

Date Status
12/2024 Clearing & Grubbing construction package has advertised for construction and bid opening is scheduled for December 2024.
10/2024 Finalizing wetlands mitigation agreement and Clearing & Grubbing construction package expected to advertise for construction in November 2024.
09/2024 Finalizing wetlands mitigation agreement and preparing Clearing & Grubbing construction package for bid advertisement.
08/2024 Right of way acquisition is complete. The 100% Final design submittal is being reviewed by the PMT.
07/2024 Right of way acquisition is complete. The design submittal is being reviewed by the PMT.
05/2024 Right of way acquisition is complete. Clearing and Grubbing construction package is being finalized and awaiting approval of wetlands permit prior to construction.
11/2023 Right of way acquisition is underway and offers are being presented to property owners.
11/2023 Design is complete. ROW acquisition ongoing in preparation for utility relocations, clearing & grubbing, and ultimately construction.
12/2022 The Design Consultant has prepared the 90% design plan submittal. Right-of-way acquisition is underway.
05/2022 The 90% design submittal is complete and right of way acquisition is underway. Currently Appraisals are being prepared.
11/2021 The Design Consultant has prepared the 90% design plan submittal and it is currently under review.
07/2021 The Design Consultant is preparing the 90% design plan submittal.
01/2021 The Design Consultant is preparing the Right-of-Way Maps and the 90% design plan submittal.
