Project Description: Design and construction to widen Old Hammond Highway to four lanes with a median and sidewalks from Millerville to O'Neal. While final plans were originally completed in 2014, modifications will be made to the plans by the Design Consultant.

01/2024	The design engineer is preparing final construction documents and plans. Utility relocations are underway and are expected to be complete once the final right-of-way acquisition is complete. Project will be advertised for construction in 2024 after all right-of-way is acquired.
11/2023	The design engineer is preparing final construction documents and plans. Utility relocations are underway and are expected to continue until the end of 2023 after the final right-of-way acquisition is complete. Project will be advertised for construction in 2024 after all right-of-way is acquired.
09/2023	The design engineer is preparing final construction documents and plans. Utility relocations are underway and are expected to continue until the end of 2023 after the final right-of-way acquisition is complete. Roadway construction will be advertised after all right-of-way is acquired.
07/2023	The design engineer is preparing final construction documents and plans. Utility relocations are underway and are expected to continue until the end of 2023. Roadway construction will follow utility relocations after final Right of Way acquisition is complete.

02/2021	Right of way negotiations are underway. Once right of way acquisition is complete, clearing and utility relocations will begin.
12/2020	Contracting is underway with the Engineering Design Consultant to begin revisions to the final plans. Appraisals are underway.
