Broadmoor Residents Turn Out to See Sharp Road Improvement Plans

Residents of the Broadmoor neighborhood started arriving early at an open house held at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, excited to see designs for improvements to the Sharp Road Corridor. This project includes a multiuse path on the east side of Sharp Road along with intersection improvements at various locations, including a roundabout at the intersection of Sharp Road and Mollylea Drive where the church is located.

The project will also consider lighting and landscaping improvements. The MOVEBR proposition budget for this project is $11 million, and the design consultant is GOTECH. You can find out more about the project here.

MOVEBR Deputy Program Manager Jason Crain discusses with local residents the roundabout that will be built at the Sharp Road and Mollylea Drive intersection.
Metro Council members Laurie Adams and Cleve Dunn, whose districts both include Sharp Road, visit as residents view plans for improving the corridor.
