Phase 1 Construction remains ongoing. Phase 2 PIH complete and preparing the 90% plan submittal.
Groom Road will be closed from Clermont St. to Plank Rd. May 6-May 20, 2026 to replace cross drain pipes that will help alleviate local flooding. Please use the detour shown in the maps and exercise caution when traveling in this area. Local traffic will be allowed past Clermont St. to access residences, Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Baker Funeral Home, and Sonic Drive-in Restaurant on the north side of Groom Rd. Other businesses in the area and the Advantage Charter Academy can be accessed from Plank Road. We appreciate your patience as we work to make Groom Rd. safer for all users. |
