Project Description: Hooper Road from Joor to Sullivan will be widened to provide additional capacity. Hooper Road is a state route (LA 408) and the DOTD is participating in the project.

03/2024	Design plans are in final review. The Right-of-Way acquisition process is scheduled to begin Q2 of 2024. Utility relocations and construction activities will start after the land is acquired for the project.

12/2023	Design plans are in final review. The Right-of-Way acquisition process is scheduled to begin Q1 of 2024. Utility relocations and construction activities will start after the land is acquired for the project.
09/2023	The Consultant is nearly complete with final plans. The Right-of-Way acquisition process is scheduled to begin quarter 4 of 2023. Utility relocations and construction activities will start after the land is acquired for the project.
06/2023	The Consultant is nearly complete with final plans. The right-of-way acquisition process is scheduled to begin in quarter 3 of 2023. Utility relocation plans are being finalized.
01/2023	The Consultant is nearly complete with final plans. The Right-of-Way acquisition process should begin in early 2023.
03/2022	Final plans are being developed. The traffic analysis is completed.
09/2021	This project is currently in the final design stage.
07/2021	The Design Consultant is preparing the traffic study with LADOTD involvement. Upon completion, the Design Consultant will move into Final Plan production. A Public Meeting was held June 17, 2021.
06/2021	The Design Consultant is preparing the traffic study with LADOTD involvement. Upon completion, the Design Consultant will move into Final Plan production. A Public Meeting will be held June 17, 2021.
