Project Description: A legacy project that began during GLP and was placed on hold. The project includes design and construction of a new/realigned rural, two-lane roadway. The Comite bridge is being constructed by United States Army Corps of Engineers.

Date Status
08/2021 The Engineering Design Consultant is completing the final plans for the projects. Clearing and Grubbing plans are completed and coordination is underway with the United States Army Corps to determine the appropriate timing for each contract to be constructed. The project will not be completed until after the Comite River Diversion is functional. 
12/2020 The Engineering Design Consultant is completing the final plans for the projects. Clearing and Grubbing plans are completed and coordination is underway with the United States Army Corps to determine the appropriate timing for each contract to be constructed.
