Project Description: The proposed typical section adds paved shoulders while open ditches will remain, though reconstructed, throughout the corridor. A sidewalk will provide connectivity between LA 964 and Pin Oak Landing on both sides of Port Hudson - Pride Road.

Project Updates

Date	Status
02/2024	The MOVEBR Port Hudson Pride Project has reached a significant milestone, completing the initial design study phase. Currently, the project team is evaluating final alternatives to address transportation needs in the area. Once a design alternative is accepted by all stakeholders, the project will transition into the final design phase.
12/2023	The design consultant has completed the draft design study. Project alternatives are being evaluated before the project moves into final design.
11/2023	The design consultant has completed the design study. Project alternatives are being evaluated before the project moves into final design.
07/2023	The design consultant has completed the topographic survey and is continuing to work on the design study. Current efforts are studying the existing and proposed drainage.
01/2023	The design consultant will begin the design study work, beginning with topographic survey, in January of 2023.
06/2022	A design consultant has been selected. Scope and fee negotiations are currently underway. No design activity is underway.
12/2020	This project is in the planning phase based on prioritization. No design activity is underway.
