Project Description: The proposed project is to add an additional lane in each direction for the length of the corridor. Depending on the land use, geometry and right of way available, either shoulder or curb and gutter will be provided.

Date Status
11/2023 Project is in the preliminary design phase. The consultant is preparing the traffic study and preliminary alternatives have been identified. These will be evaluated and refined to final alternatives. The MOVEBR program team and consultant team are working closely with the LADOTD on this work.
09/2023 Project is in the preliminary design phase. The consultant is preparing the traffic study and working on identifying preliminary alternatives. Once the preliminary alternatives are identified, these will be evaluated and refined to final alternatives. 07/2023 Project is in the preliminary design phase. The consultant is preparing the traffic study and working on identifying preliminary alternatives. Once the preliminary alternatives are identified, these will be evaluated and refined to final alternatives.
01/2023 The design consultant is developing the traffic analysis for the project. This analysis will be used to determine what type of facility and improvements may be needed within the corridor.
06/2022 Survey of the corridor has begun. Consultant is working on the traffic analysis and report.
04/2021 Scope and fee negotiations are underway with the design consultant.
02/2021 Contracting with Stantec is underway.
11/2020 An Engineering Design Consultant was selected. Scoping and negotiations are underway for the design study and environmental activities.
