Future Community Enhancement (FCE)
2025 Call for Projects
Application deadline is Friday, October 10, 2025. Schedule your meeting here.
The MOVEBR program, approved by the voters of East Baton Rouge Parish, included $49 million in funds for Future Community Enhancement (FCE) Projects. The Mayor-President and Metro-Council members are the designated parties to submit projects for consideration from their respective districts.
Following the success of the 2022 First Call for Projects, which resulted in 29 new community-based enhancement projects, the 2025 Second Call for Projects is now open for project submissions. Under this round, there is $13 million in FCE funds remaining for eligible local improvements. $1 million will be allocated to the mayor’s office for project proposal and the remaining $12 million will be available to the Metro-Council members’ respective districts; approximately $1 million per district.
Fred Raiford, Director of Transportation and Drainage, and the MOVEBR program management team are available to meet with each Metro-Council member to assist with the application process.
We look forward to working with you to bring community enhancement projects to all parts of East Baton Rouge Parish.
