Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) Signal Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
Mayor-President Sid Edwards and District 3 Metro Councilman Rowdy Gaudet activated the Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) signal at a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on December 18, 2025, for the Bluebonnet Boulevard Mid-Block Crossing project.
Mayor Edwards urged drivers and pedestrians to learn how the signal works to help make crossing safer. The MOVEBR program has an animated video and more information about how to use the signal here.
