Project Description: This project is to provide access management, signalization, and capacity improvements along College Dr. This project will also improve access for pedestrians through signal improvements, sidewalk connections, and transit stop improvements. The MOVEBR Program will work with the selected consultants, LA State Department of Transportation (DOTD), business owners, public stakeholders, and local interest groups for this project.

Date	Status
01/2024	The project has been broken into multiple phases. The design consultant has completed 60% design plans for Phase 1 and is working on base ROW maps.
11/2023	The project has been broken into multiple phases. Final plans are being developed by the consultant for Phase 1.
08/2023	The Design Consultant is finalizing the design study. A public meeting for the project was held on July 18, 2023. Negotiations and contracting are underway with the Engineering Design Consultant to begin development of final plans.
07/2023	The Public Meeting scheduled for July 18, 2023 at 5:30-7:00 PM at Westdale Heights Academic Magnet (WHAM) School, 2000 College Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
05/2022	The Design Consultant is preparing the design study. A public meeting will be held before the conclusion of the design study phase.
10/2020	The Design Consultant is preparing the design study. A public meeting will be held before the conclusion of the design study phase.
